Hi, I'm Dre Helene Tessier

More than 25 years of experience

Since my graduation from the Faculty of Veterinary Medecine in 1995, I have practiced in-clinic care for pets. During all those years, I have continued to study in different fields: nutrition, behaviour, dermatology and pain management. Establishing a relationship with my patients and thier owners is very important to me. I believe  strongly  in preventive medecine, and by giving my clients advice based on my years of experience. Together, we can keep your companions in good health, for has long as possible and at reasonnable prices. My senior patients are the most dear to me. I want to help them to have beautiful life, free from pain. When time arrives, I also offer euthanasia at home. My feeling is that, if the situation allows, this last moments with your companion should be without stress, without pain, and in the comfort of your home.

I am presently working on a project that is very special to me. The aim of the project is to make the contact between companion animals and their chemotherapy or immunosuppressed owners as safe as possible. A highly motivated group of veterinary specialists gather regularly to try to find a scientific way to show the benefits of having companion animal nearby in the most difficult times of life.

There's no Place like Home

No need to stuff your cat in a transporter cage, or pretend tath you are taking your dog for a pleasant drive to the park!

When I began my mobile service my first patients were too old to transport by car. I was happy to make a difference in their lives and to offer them a life with less pain and even a return to some physical activity. Then I began seeing young puppies and kittens for their first vaccinations. What a difference from a visit to the clinic! These pets can wander around comfortably in their familiar environement, completely at ease, and without stress. Most of these furry friends do not even notice when they get their vaccinations. I love this new approach to veterinary medecine. I see the difference in my little patients, and their pulse rates!
